Hmmmm. I wonder if they just put a bunch of crappy VRM's in their 570 cards? I haven't heard about any 580's having similar problems. Also new Family Guy time. Going to get into bed and watch and then go to sleep. Night guys!

from what i've read, it's partly due to people flashing to 1.1v+ or unlocking OCP in furmark

that, combined with cheap 4 phase design/weak VRM's = lots of dead 570's

stupid movie theather i work at only has me and everyone else but 2-3 people working 4 hour weeks, then the 2-3 people have 30 hour weeks its lame. Hope my GTX 580 last first $near 600 computer part and highest end gpu ive ever owned, im used to running year old tech mid range when its cheap enough to buy but since i got a job now and almost 18.... 1.2v on the GTX 580 (custom bios) for a week now running like a charm @ 975 core haven't really tried much higher yet but with my gamming/folding habbits its pushing 22k PPD if i acculy folded for more then 6-8 hours a day

22k ppd wow.. 1.2v

that's good news, 580 definitely stronger than 570.. 1.2v on the 570 and it would likely die within a day or so... or one furmark run lol

Its at 125mv. It looks like it takes over 1.45 for 4.6ghz and I think that is too much. Looks like my GTX 580 @ 900 core is stable at just 1.1v. Its doing 19k PPD. After it finishes that wu Ill bumb core to 950 to see what happens.
