if you're not going to allow any variance in x6 cat, why aren't you restricting OC or OS ?
there's always going to be variance depending on those two factors
linux client vs windows client alone gives a ~10k variance on the same cpu & oc
so an x6 on windows at 30k ppd vs an x6 on linux at 40k
oh that's totally fine & different from a 2500k vs x6 variance
If I wanted it to be the exact same, I'd have made everyone use PS3s.
The variance comes in how you use the CPU; dedicated or not, Windows or Linux, -bigadv or not. You agree that all X6s are the same, no?
Yet when the people in the discussion are telling me they get 30-35k (which is what I have had as an average too), and the i5 gets 40-45k PPD, something needs to be done to address that balance.
