Any advice is appreciated. I looked over a ton fo threads and thought these were the best settings, but I am no OC Guru..

Updates: BSOD on 1.42vcore.. decided to up the VCCIO to 1.175 and PLL to 1.65.. Dont really want to continue upping Vcore..

Thanks Guys!

I have the same board (OK, it's not Gen3) with my 2500K and that's about how things look over at my place (going by memory here though). I run x49 multi and stock 100 BCLK, and I think VCCIO is at 1.15V (this is the voltage to the IMC and wouldn't need to be boosted as high as you have it with 1333MHz mem, IIRC).

But honestly I'd back it down to 4.8 where you were before and testing stability with folding (what is stable with Prime/Linpack/OCCT might no be with folding). I'd set up this: http://www.linuxforge.net/docs/crunching/fah-vmware.php, using this guide (just use the second post), download the VM-image from my first link. Enable bigadv in the config and hope you get any before they are gone. I use this (not bigadv though, so only normal SMP for me) on my AMD X6 daily driver and for me it nets a higher average PPD than going with the Windows client so I say it's worth a try if you wan to maximize it. If you need help setting this up, I'd be more than happy to.

Here is my formula for OC's for big/hugeadv -
Find stable OC
Lower multi by one
Up BCLK by 2
Profit

JMatt, I'm not sure if you already have, but back down to 48*102.

I just pulled the trigger on 4 x 6174 cpus. I will sell my 6134 cpus in a few days. That should put me @ 500k ppd(15 million/month) I have over 2k in parts waiting to be sold and pay for the P4 rig.

Your a mad man DR. Make sure you get that stuff sold before IB drops and you lose some money. Also let me know when you list it. I think my bro is looking to put together a rig soon so I may be willing to snatch it up for him. thumb.gif

Thanks for the tip. I ran prime while at work and it failed arounf the 11th hour.. It was set to 49 @ 1.42vcore 100 blck.. So I bumped down to 48 then dumped up the blck to 102 and the vcore by .005.. It actually running hotter now than it did after 8hrs of prime at 48.. but only by a degree.. I will click the link and try to get the set up tonight and hopefully get lucky and prime till tomorrow without BSOD.

Just installed the VM and I am trying to figure out how to set up the HFM? Also how to do go about folding with the VM.. <---- Noob

Ran the command to fold bigadv even thought I think i need 10wu to fold bigadvs.. but I get this message Could not get ID from server.. Not too sure what I did wrong.. <---Still big Noob
