If not I will just do a similar set up to what I have now.. It may end up being easier, especial for drivers, and switching to ivy bridge in acouple months.. and oc'ing.

Dedi CPU rigs must have a native Linux install. This
is what I'd use since you're the i7-2 and don't need the corefix (can't use it really). It's basically a native version of the VM you're now running, no GUI, SSH, web setup, especially built for folding.
