Finally I got 2 WUs to run back to back. Still not sure what the problem was. But for the moment it looks like the problem has resolved itself.

OH, and Arvid, as requested.... biggrin.gif

Hoping for another beast... If not it will be my normal/gaming GPU and the 6970 will stay the TC card. thumb.gif

Morning all. It's folding nicely at 1.46V smile.gif I'll give it another 24 hours then lower the volts by a bit.
TPF is worse though, but whatever. It ends up that the WU just drops for like 5k less, which is nothing.

James I'm confused, is it still folding fine?

if the TPF is higher, it can mean that either your CPU/RAM OC isn't quite stable...

I downclocked 100MHz lol... of course TPF is worse

I already knew you downclocked, wasn't aware you were re-iterating...

With my OC in the early days on my 2500k, i noticed a TPF improvement at one stage by increasing my vcore 20mV

JMatters get in touch with JoshHuman, he's the guy to know when it comes to ubuntu. He virtually set up my bigbigadv folding for me...I had no clue.

I bet you he could figure out whats wrong with it.
