Its the really low voltage samsung ram.. Its on 1.6, just because I wanted it to boot.. But i can prbably tighten the timings abit and lowers the voltages..

I hear the Samsung Ram can do2133 9-10-9-27 on 1.55v

So I am going to try 9-9-9-24 at 1.5 lol on 1866.. Just ran a quick prime and the workers seem fine.. I will run a more extensive prive session later tho.. Incase I even need to fold on this comp..

the 6098 wu i got upped my ppd to 40.8k hip hip.. the 6099 i get avg 38.5k

i dont think i have had a set of ram ever run what it asid it can run at the voltages listed over 1600.

I have Mushkin that is supposed to do 2133 10-11-10-28 @ 1.5v. Yeah im running it at 1.65. Wouldn't boot otherwise.

If you dont have 1.01.14 go here and download it..
http://usa.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8P67_PRO_REV_31/#download
Its under utilities.

AI suite is a horrible bloated buggy thing I wouldn't trust it to update my BIOS, and I haven't even installed it the last few OS's and I've been much happier for it, damn thing runs like 10 processes. It's been a while since I updated mine but I did it from the BIOS, you can certainly use a USB thumb drive but I think you can put it on a cs as well but I'm not sure, just try to avoid flashing the BIOS from windows as it has more opportunities for things to go wrong. If possible

Timings don't make a huge difference even to folding, the MHz is much more important. Obviously being 100% stable is more important than MHz or timings. tongue.gif

That was the whole thing about it...he didn't have a thumb drive. so i was trying to get him the easiest way to update.

But good to know that AI Suite is bloaty. Had never paid attention. Really I just started running this Asus 2 days ago. I did play around with it a couple weeks in December before i sold the 3930k. Used it then for a bit but then again, I'm not hurting for resources. Gonna go check it out now though and maybe uninstall it.

I too normally update from a thumb.

Ah I just basically skimmed, so my mistake. You likely won't see a noticeable PPD increase from getting rid of AI suite but I certainly am much happier without it, the only thing I used it for was basically a bloated HW monitor and I much prefer the real HW Monitor over the "Asus 10 process, annoying GUI, HW Monitor"
