No.  Like 22k PPD.  edit, er, The base points are around 20k, so it's less than than per day.

Not for the amount of time you'd waste folding them.
609X = 15k points each, ~10 hours of folding
8101 = 22.7k base points, and it takes a 3930k around 55 hours to fold it, so a 2600k would be like 3 days
TL;DR yes but it would be 7x more time wasted on the unit for 50% more points

Isn't the bonus deadline when they send that WU out to someone else to be done? So all the WUs you'd do wouldn't actually be contributing at all if you tried to cling to bigadvs that you can't do.

What processor is a 16 core? And how much to build a good 16core rig lol..

I guess as long as we all agree smp is ok.. we will proceed?

With SMP it wont be ask much luck of the draw and will be more of who has the better rig.

Exactly, should make things a bit more fun.

Took the word out of my mouth, I totally agree.

Sure you can. biggrin.gif

I'm not freaking out.

Looks like you are correct. I was under the impresion that a 2600k and a 3770k get about the same ppd.

• If you have a Gulftown Hexcore (i7 970/980/990) in i7-1, you may not have another in i7-2, and you may not have a 3770k in i7-2.

I've seen one (only one) user in native Linux doing about 40-50k PPD on a 3770K@4.6 depending on WU, and unfortunately no units that I have a clue what a 2600K would do to.

As I understand they won't redistribute a WU before the final deadline is passed and they haven't received it back.
