I think that's the coolest I've seen my CPU in Linux, granted that it's an 8049 and not one of the hot running ones. I do hate snow and all the other crap of the winter though.
I really enjoyed my time in Lisboa, nice breeze from the sea and 36-40*C. 30+ *C sucks in the Netherlands though since the wind is down most of the time in the summer.
What do you do when a hurricane comes? Do you evacuate or stay at home? And who pays the repairs of the damage that was done?
Luckily in the past, the Hurricanes have pretty much died down to catagory 1 by the time they reach us, so we just get rain and very minor wind damage, and of course power outages. Other then a few tress down and maybe some ripped off flashing, we've never really had much damage.
I only evacuated for 1 hurricae in my life, its was mid 90s and i lived in Coastal Georgia, and a huge one was heading straight for us, so they evacuated the coast only to have the hurricane turn at the last minute and completly miss Georgia and slam the Carolinas. What a joke, lol.

Im always cautious when making things make noises, I have an African Grey and he only needs to hear something once and he'll start repeating it, especially noises that get annoying fast. A day after we got him he was already making the tivo noise and the ps3 beep when it starts up
