Looking for best SSD RAID5 Compatable (Oracle Database Usage)

Thread Starter
Hey,

CHALLENGE
winner gets a prize (winner must have paypal)

I was looking for the best SSD that I can get that is compatible with this controller card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16816151035

The price range that I am binded to is $350 per drive. I plan to put them in RAID 5 so the only other requirement is that it is able to do that. They will be used in a server doing computations and massive amounts of read/writes with oracle databases.

Please reply on what your pick is and a good rational reasoning on why you picked what you did over the rest of the options on the market. Winner will be selected by myself at time of decision making. Thanks.

how about this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227470

reason for choosing is because the disadvantage of raid 5 is reduced perfomance and seeing as the perormance of these drives are high, maybe the reduced performance will not be as bad as using other drives of less performance (does that sound right???) also for the performance/size of these drives, they seem to be at a quite competative price, also the power usage when active is lower than other ssd's in the same league as this one. Also supports RAID

there is also an intel,it is slightly out of the price range however on an intel interface storage card the following chart shows the performance.

there seems to be nothing about which drives are compatible and which are not, only states that it is sata II
