So I just bought a 360 S, and the headset that came with it doesn't work. I can hear like white noise when I turn it up all the way, but no one can hear me. Any suggestions?

wha?

To OP: If you're getting that much distortion i wouldn't be suprised if it is broken. When did you buy the xbox? I'm sure it wouldnt be too hard to bring it in for a replacement.

Do other headseats work when you try them? Are you plugging into front panel or rear? If the same problem happens with other headsets check you panel connections.
