Okay so for me I know a lot about computers, but I always find that I am never very knowledgeable about displays. Well so far my sig. rigs monitors is working good for what I have, but I when it comes time for me to pick up two gtx560's hopefully from evga superclocked versions...I would most likely be getting a better display that can act also as a tv replacement. Right now I don't have a TV and I mostly watch only torrent downloads or app store bought movies. I am also going to become smarter and get a raid10 setup for extra backup and media storage for more stuff.

Now I am trying to be sensible about what I need but also want a multi-functioning display. The specs it has to have are: 1080p, really thin and be able to mount on my wall. No bigger than 46" and no smaller than 30". Have a really good contrast ratio. I really don't care about a blu-ray drive...I have kindof skipped buying blu-ray media, and buying dvd's as well. I will buy online hd content or "torrent" it from my favorite sites *cough* piratebay *cough*

I was thinking like a price range of $1000, the reason why is because I don't want to have a monitor and a TV. I think with two gtx560s I think it would be more than enough juice to play most games on a 40" 1080p oled display. I have heard some good and some bad about the google tv...would that be something to look into? Also, does the googletv have a good app setup...like netflex etc..?

**EDIT:**
I know the big craze today is the 1080p 3d tv's but I really don't like the 3d tv's...I find it alittle overdone like I don't need something that crazy. Having to wear those goggles with my nearsightedness would make me wear coke-lenses in one month albiet...so I really don't want anything with 3d.
