the newest Wolfenstein seems great, but my 5670 has a wierd problem

Overall pointless

I tried the newest Wolfenstein and it runs pretty good maxed out @ 1920x1080, but my 5670 set to 900/4670 and hightest fan above 43C (my 5670 shuts down after about 52C for any length of time)... the fan is way too loud to play the game basically...

But also I have a weird graphical error, that I assume is just due to the load on the 5670, but I'm not sure?

When I turn even by 20degress lets say, to look around, I get a funny band of distortion across the entire screen about 2/3 of the way up, it has the local colors and textures in it , but it does make the game unplayable.

I've only turned down a few small settings, but its still there

You're putting too much of a load on that GPU.

The problem is that your GPU can't render the frame at that resolution as fast as your CPU can which will cause errors. I would tone down the graphics.
