Tablet to replace my phone - Page 2

Thread Starter
Xoom looks sexy. How will Verizon price their data plan for it? It would suck once 4G is put out for it if i was stuck with a low data cap with such a fast connection.

I'm sure motorola will lock out the xoom. If they don't then it looks like it will be worth it. But if you don't care if it is locked and you can mod it freely then get the xoom. Otherwise I would wait for another to come out.

NotionInk Adam was around before last year's CES, its finally starting to ship.

Aside from the Galaxy Tab its the only quality tablet in production. The biggest thing it has going for it is it's PixelQi screen, which you can think of as a normal LCD that can turn into an eInk screen with the push of a button.

Also Tegra 2 and Gingerbread with custom tablet-sized apps.

I wouldn't say the galaxy tab isn't worth the money because too me it is

Does tons of stuff and runs everything smooth.

Besides im paying flex pay for it from hsn And will get 300$ back cause i signed up with sprint 3g.

But ya this device replaced my laptop and netbook for on the go Which i do gaming on it watch movies/shows browse the web and listen too lastfm.

Oh and the battery life is awesome on it samsung says up too 7hours but i easy get more than that.

Also my first android device too and so far loving the heck out of it.

Was gonna get a ipad instead but when i saw that hsn had the flexpay for the samsung i decided too get that instead which is a better value too me, And too me the ipad seems too big 7in of screen is just perfect, And all it is, Is just a big ipod touch which i have already.

And its gonna get Gingerbread which should make it even better. Also herd it might get honey comb if it can handle it but its 50/50 right now.

If i had too pay right out instead of payments i problee would've wait for the future tablets too come out and see how they are, But flex pay is nice and so is hsn 3year warranty 89$ which covers drops water spill and everything else.

Oh there's also a wifi verison that's coming out and should be pretty cheap from what i herd, Which might be under 500 or 400.
