[Corsair] H60 specs officially published - Page 9

Well i already own an h70 so the new h60 does not appeal to me so much. however its nice to see the new tech they put in (doest look as cool tho). The corsair hydro series is aimed at people like me who want a high performance cooler, but dont have time to build a custom loop. i love my h70 so far, and personaly i think it looks pretty badass! keeps my OC at 70 -75 at 100% load.
I think im becoming a corsair fanboy. lol. my next upgrade will be 8 GB of dominator ram, maybe even a new case.

Until they make this in a 240 rad variant, I'll watch quietly from the sidelines.
Shame how they are using 90 degree connections as that makes the job harder for an already weak corsair pump

Corsair has already announced that it's performance will be in between the H50 and H70 thus it's called the H60 (sequential order)

We're adding CoolIT as a supplier and we welcome them with open arms - but we're not "switching" from Asetek to CoolIT, we're just going to be using products from both of them. This is similar to how our PSUs are made by different vendors. This offers us a lot of protection and allows us to offer the best products to consumers.

If we were exclusive with either of these suppliers and the other supplier developed a superior product, we wouldn't be able to offer it. With this strategy you guys always get the best product.

As for the H60, it's a new platform (not ECO/Vantage) with a new coldplate, manifold, etc. I believe the actual impeller and pump might be similar, but it's got significant performance benefits over the ECO. It's designed to perform between H50 and H70, and in every test we've run, it does. The fan is also entirely new for us, and is the result of some real engineering work done on blade and housing design to offer superior airflow and static pressure. Our previous fans were sourced basically off-the-shelf, this one was developed separately.

So our end goals are to make products that you guys want to use. I think we've listened to a lot of the suggestions from you guys and we're putting them into action.

- You wanted an analog version of the HS1 - check, the HS1A is launching.
- You wanted a mid-tower Obsidian case - check, the 650D is launching.
- You wanted a 600T side panel with window/mesh - this is also launching.
- You wanted a color variant of 600T - this is launching.

etc, etc.

All those "all in one closed systems" are garbage. Even a TRUE or NH-D14 outperforms those "water" cooling kits.

you mean 120+ tubing + cooling (material to go inside the loop) + 2 days testing + maintenance + time to put it together.

The h70 even comes with shin etsu already on the block, what more can you ask for out of a non maintenance system.
All you corsair fanboys are really going out of your way.

All of your complaints seems to be.

1. $$$ . Rasa kits have shown this to be almost a moot point.

2. Leaks. Unless you did something wrong or there is a manufacturing defect its not going to happen.

3. Leak testing taking days. Mine took 8 hours and I was sleeping the entire time.

4. Temps not being so great. Like I said in a previous post from my h50 temps were 80c and my loop has temps at 55c.

5. Maintenance. I along with many other people have not touched our loops in months/years. Search the forum for the Guy that has had his loop running for 2 years using just a kill coil.

Use what you want but don't go spreading lies trying to justify your purchases.
