You need to make sure you actually need 8GB of RAM and not 4GB. More RAM than you will use is not a good thing-- in fact, it actually hurts you. The majority of people do not use over 4GB.

As for the rig posted by 2010rig, I have a few... suggestions.

1) Don't use Amazon if at all possible.
2) Don't get that memory if you want high performance RAM, those timings are horrendous.
3) Of those video cards, get the 570 hands down. If you can't afford the price difference between the 470 and the 570, wait until you can, you'll thank me later. The 6950 would be the close second. Just don't get the 470.
4) Not a fan of the Phantom at all. I would personally stick with the HAF 932 that you had suggested earlier in the thread. It also works really well with the cooling that you want. Though both cases would work well, so consider this more of a personal preference .
5) Get a Silver Arrow instead of an NH-D14. Though both will work really well. I've used both extensively.
6) All three of those suggested PSUs are overkill. Get a solid high-quality 650W unit and you will even still have some headroom for upgrades.

I hate to say it, but the Silent Pro M is not that good of a PSU. It's not terrible, but can you get anything better? You were considering the HX850 before which is significantly better, so what about the HX650 or HX750?
