The i7 2600k actually uses dual channel memory, not triple channel. The memory you have picked won't work with your setup. With dual channel I would suggest 2x 2GB sticks. As far as brands, Corsair, Mushkin, and G. Skill RAM is all good. Get low CL 1600 MHz RAM. Everything else looks good however I don't know much about that PSU. I would check out a Corsair or Antec 750w.

Oh damn i really needed a 6gb. Nvm i will get the 4gb then and for the psu i mistakenly left that coolermaster silent pro here i will change to a Corsair HX750W Modular.

Way too much ram for gaming. You can always upgrade down the road later. I have 8GB, and it is still too much.

Grade either 4 1TB drives and raid-0/1 them or grab a SSD for a boot drive.

Switch out those 6970s for some GTX570s/580s.

Grab a sandy bridge instead. Great gaming performance.

Cheers on the build!

Oh...I posted too late...

3x2GB would still work fine. You just wouldn't be taking advantage of the parallel channel on your second set, so it's not recommended.

This looks good. Of course, I'm not a huge fan of the case, but I digress.
I would also rather see 2x GTX 570s in SLi instead of 2x 6950s in CFX, but alas, I'm sure that's just the NVidia fanboy inside of me speaking.

With an unlimited budget I probably would run 570's also, but two 6950's will end up costing much less and can be unlocked to 6970's running very similar performance to the 570's.

Hmm those gtx 570 is too expensive i will upgrade when the time comes when i have the cash to get something better at that time. Also as i have known my processor cannot support the 3x2gb ram, it is triple chnl which it can't support. so can i get a 3gb x 2 for dual chnl i suppose it will work?
