OH? oviously you dont have support for voltage monitoring. well wheni had a HD 4870my tepratures under full 100% load would reach upto 90C, i would worry about it; just got unlucky with your chip. :-|

ok i downloaded the latest GPU-Z and my VDDC is 1V

Your memory is not clocking down , it´s still running at 800 in 2D.
You could try downgrading to 10.4 , this was before they upped the 2d clocks.
Look here for all the older drivers

Worth a try, you can alwasy revert back to the later driver if you want, but you realy havent got a problem, if its not BSOD's they u r ok.

Yes they should , it´ll shave a couple degrees off.
As I mentioned go for the 10.4 , I found these the most stable while still keeping the low clocks.

Follow coffeejunky´s guide and you should be fine.

i replaced the TIM and got the temp to drop to 55-58C..

ok i just found out the problem.. the hsf doesn't touch the core.. and i mean it doesn't!..
when i align the card to the light i can see the gap very well.. smaller than a millimeter..
but still visible to the eye.. i filed the edge of the screw to make it smaller to bring to hsf closer to the core, but not to close enough to crush the core when i tighten the screw..
the the temp dropped to 47C.. im gonna monitor if the temp goes up again..
