Mechanical gaming keyboard questions - Page 2

i don't think it's a waste if you spend all day working and typing at 60+ wpm for 8 hours straight

however it can be considered a waste for gamers
gamers typically stay attached to wasd , control left, shift, tab ect...

aside from that, gamers are always into buying "performance products"

mechanical keyboards just file under that small niche of people who either actually use them correctly, or obsess over having a small advantage over others with a noisier keyboard so that they can put their k/d ratio over at the razer forums

back on topic....

i have a razer black widow, only issue aside from glossy borders , is the macros on the left side, i'm used to keyboards with macros on top, so that's something i'll have to get used to.

I have a logitech dinovo edge, hands down the best keyboard i have ever owned. I don't know whether it is mechanical or not, but the keys are low profile and its pleasant to write and type on.

I have had the Razer lycosa and it broke, as well as the rubber on the keys was starting to wear off. The feel was 'cheap plastic' so i can't really recommend it, sorry.

Yeah I used to have a Lycosa mirrored and it felt really cheap after a while. The gloss on it was especially icky so I'm never buying anything but mice from razer.

7g it is.
