Normal temp for a card

I have a GTX275 and lately the temps have been 45-48c idle and 80-90c load. After playing Metro2033 it shot up to 198 F <--- yes that is what cpuid showed. It didn't artifact or shut down. Can this temp be correct or is it the temp sensor whacked? I know what to think,I guess I'm asking whats normal for video cards in general?

I have a eVGA GTX460 SC EE that idles at 33°C (91°F) and goes to 99°C (210°F) under heavy load.
