Do Athlon's have CnQ? If so, you may want to disable that in BIOS, especially if you're not folding on the CPU...

I'm still only getting 4,000 PPD it seems; while HFM shows 12,000, my EOC stats are only showing 4,000. Am I missing something here?

Unless I'll be getting 1348 every three hours...in which cases brings me to about 10,000.

Just checked your EOC, and you are getting 1 work unit every 3 hours and since HFM is reporting 12k PPD you are good to go.
Ignore the EOC avg PPD, cause that is calculating from the days you did not do so great in points. It should average out to a higher number as the days go on.
