Sure they do. First you pick pick an arbitrary number based on the general layout of the keyboard, then you use an Ouija board to choose the letter part of the model #, then you roll a d12 and divide the result by pi to determine the numbers at the end. Easy as cake.

A year or two ago, a Geekhack member emailed them and asked them for an explanation of their model number system. The guy at Cherry gave them an old system, which had a different number of digits/letters to currently produced Cherry keyboards. So, if they don't know their own system, who does?

Well, that's not very reassuring. I don't really want Blacks, I'd really prefer Blues, and I've never tried Browns but would probably like them.
