Mosfet heatsink

Thread Starter
I've been searching Google to find out what size of a mosfet heatsink I need for my borad but can't seem to find much of anything. It's a GA-790XT-USB3 (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=3295#ot)

My board has the pin holes for the heatsink but not sure what size I need. I found these on Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...=1&name=Mosfet) I know that one of them "fits all" but I'd like to use that as a last resort since my board has the pin holes for one and I beleive it would stay nice and tight with those compared to just being stuck there with the thermal tape.

Hope someone can point me to a site with the info. +Rep for the link I need, Thanks!

If you want to measure your board you can double check on Enzotech's website for those two that you found. Here is their site

http://www.enzotechnology.com/mst_88.htm
and for the other one
http://www.enzotechnology.com/mst_81.htm

on the page just click the measure motherboard capability button and select the heaksink again to get a pdf of the measurements

hope this helps
