Client stopped SMP?

Thread Starter
I just started folding a day or so ago and have enjoyed the process so far! I can really see the appeal with it. My question is that one my clients, a Pentium dual core in my home server was setup with the client to run SMP. Now all of the sudden in HFM it says the client type is 'Standard' and its PPD went way down. Is this normal? Will it switch around depending on what type of work it's sent?

has the client recently restarted and you forgot to add the -smp flag?

Probaby this...or maybe you didn't get a passkey?

Either way thank you and welcome to folding, and you have one of the coolest avatars I've seen in a awhile.

zzM, which unit are you currently working on?
If it isn't A3 then you did not open the client with the -smp shortcut you made beforehand.

HFM isn't aware if you have a passkey entered, it calculates the bonuses if you select that option if not it wont.

I have the -smp tag right in my desktop shortcut. I've restarted the client a few times and it's still doing it. In HFM it shows down in the bottom left corner C:\\Folding (-svcstart -d C:\\Folding) but I've never added or used those tags before...

Had you put rolly eyes in there, I might have jumped back on the Hayley bandwagon.

OP, screen shoot the client for us, or the FAHLOG

Well... I just decided to delete it and redo the folding setup on that computer. Back to SMP. Hopefully it stays that way. Thanks all.
