its leaking, but not from the barb? if this is the case it may be deffective. There really isnt any other place for it to leak from. Unless the manufactuer didnt solder the fins and internal piping correctly.

If you indeed find it is leaking somewhere other than the barb, i would contact the manufactuer about an RMA. If its the barb, check the o-rings for damage. Also check the threads on the rad itself as they are very delicate in most cases. May just be deffective barbs. if so thats an easy fix.

no dont over tighten the barbs. be very gentle. I tightened mine until i felt like if it went any further it would break. You want to tighten it enough so that if you tighten it anymore it gives you good resistance. Be gentle, tighten it very slow so you dont destroy the threads on the rad.

dont forget there is a rubber o-ring to prevent leaks. So it doesnt need to be rediculous tight. But at the same time you want it tight enough so that it is applying enough pressure on the o-ring to form a leak-proof bond. And you also dont want it coming lose.

i used a wrench on mine. i dont remember the size, but i was very carefull.

Yep. Unscrew the fans from the radiator and look directly under the threading where the fan screws into. If if looks like this:

You have accidentally punctured the radiator with a fan screw and will have to fix it with a soldering iron.

If you can't find the leak I would drain the radiator of water completely, re-install the white protective seal caps and submerge it into your bathtub. Air bubbles will appear at the location of the leak.

Best way to fix it is with epoxy resin I think. Buddy of mine had the same problem so I'll see if I can get him to post in here.
