Possible to turn down volume?

Thread Starter
I just got a set of HD 201's today, and was wondering if there was any way to turn down the volume of the ps3 without an external volume control, as I want to be able to simply plug my headphones into the rca-to-3.5mm that I have, but its too loud when I tried it.

If not, I could plug them into my speakers instead, but I was hoping I wouldn't have to constantly unplug them from my computer anymore...
