xbox 360 to computer to speakers

What I am trying to do is go from my xbox360 to my logitech g51 speakers. I have done some research and cant seem to find the right mix of hardware to make this possible and maintain "true surround sound".

From my hw, I have discovered in order to use my pc sound card it needs to have dolby digital decoding built in. Is there a sound card out there that does this?

If not how can I do this using my current speakers?

thanks for all feedback!!

The only way for true surround sound is through the optical-out from the 360 to your computer's optical-in (most high end mobo have it integrated). Then your 360 can play sound through G51 whilst maintain true surround.

Sorry for the late reply(have been sick). The problem is not having a dolby digital decoder. So yes I can plug my xbox into the sound card(i have a creative titanium) but I have to change the xbox setting to dobly stereo instead of 5.1.

What I want is the xbox to be able to output true dolby digital 5.1 to somehow got to my logitech g51. This can be with a soundcard or some other device, but I havent been able to find a sound card that can do this.

thanks
