he game eventually logs a huge storehouse of knowledge about how you’ve played, and subsequently tailors content to your capabilities and experiences. Entering a city, a young woman might approach you and beg you to save her daughter from kidnappers. The game will look at the nearby dungeons you’ve explored, automatically set the mission in a place you’ve never visited, and designate opponents that are appropriately matched to your strengths and weaknesses.

That sounds... so freakin cool. Im so tired of games sending me back to places I've already visited to redo crap.

It may sound cool, but it will all depends on how its executed. Graphics will make or break this game for me.

The game is meant to be modded... you'd be shooting yourself in the foot if you buy it on consoles.

And it'd probably look better on PC.

Every skill a player earns will help contribute to their overall level.
Glad to see that they didn't drop the TES skill system for the horrible Fallout 3 skill system. Also glad to see that every skill contributes towards leveling. Hell yeah.

This, I loved Morrowind and Oblivion (looking at my game of the year boxes as I type this), the one thing that made this game shine on the PC were all of the mods. Add cities, better textures, add followers, new skills, etc. If they don't have plans to let some of those amazing people do their thing and mod this game I'll be very disappointed. The new engine looks amazing as well from those few screen shots linked at the bottom of the article, I could only imagine how win some of my favorite oblivion mods would be if they looked like that.

Also, thank god conversations no longer revolve around the NPCs ability to freeze time and have you focus on their creepy faces.

Skills

There are 18 skills for players to learn, which is three down from Oblivion and eleven down from Morrowind.
Boooo for dumbing down.

But i do like that there's no skill selection at the start.

Nope, didnt have the time to bother. I definitely wont be picking this game up. Level scaling kills the immersion factor and turns this game into easy mode like every other game being released now a days.

Yeah. It sounds like leveling up will be like in the GCD mod, except with perks which are always fun.
