Radeon HD 6870

Thread Starter
I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm getting 30 FPS on BC2 on medium settings, and I can barely even play on high settings.

I just got a XFX 6870, replacing my ASUS 5770 today, and I'm really disappointed.. is something maybe causing my computer to not let this work?

Most other games are also having low fps.. not sure what's going on..

Did you uninstall and reinstall the driver like described in this link -

http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=169555

If not, driver conflicts may be causing your issues.

Something is really wrong out there.. Try that driver fresh installing if it helps.

And put MSI Afterburner or some other logging program behind the game when you run it to check if the 3dclocks are on. If some how 2d clocks are stucked on.

I just installed 10.12 over 10.10, is that the issue? How can I uninstall the old one?

In control panel remove all ati software with the install manager.

Reboot into safemode and use driver sweeper to remove any residual ati display software.

Reboot back into normal mode and install 10.12a.

Just follow the link that posted in my 1st post. It will uninstall all your drivers and install the current driver. If all you did was install 10.12 over 10.10 without uninstalling 1st, this very well may be your problem.

But rather than downloading the NVIDIA drivers, download the RAdeon drivers, right
