Need help with new SandyBridge build !

Thread Starter
I need help with my new SandyBridge Build.
I have $700 for this build.
Please recommend CPU, MoBo, Ram, GPU, etc. for this build.
I'll play Games and/or run Folding@home on this system.

Thanks

If you really want good suggestions, most everyone is gonna ask what you're going to be doing with the computer.

I cant choose Exactly which componets as i am austrlian and use diffrent currency, however i can still put in a few points.

* What do you plan on using this pc for?
* If you plan to do gaming, a 2500K would be great, otherwise if you do media encoding a 2600K would be helpful.
* As for Motherboard, you dont really need a to expensive one as the over clocking is all done by the unlocked multiplier.
* Same as above, you dont need 2000 or 1600mhz ram, 1333mhz ram from a decent brand will give just as good Oc's as other ram sticks. You wont notice a diffrence most of the time, however if you love benchmarks, then you will loose some points there.

* As for gpu, you could get a 460 or 470, they are very nice Gpu's.

It all depends on what you wish to use the system for.

Edit: Someone beat me to the point

I'd probably go for a 2500K (~$220) + Gigabyte UD3 (~$130) + 6850 (~$180). Past that, 4gb RAM would be about $50 and spend around $100 or so on a PSU. You'd be right at about $700.

I have a habit of totally forgetting things, so forgive me if I did.

Doesnt the 5750 beat the 6850...
I thought the 6850 was just the 5750 with lower heat and power, but not as good.

If he is folding he should grab a GTX 460 1GB instead of an ATI card.
