So here's my rig all completed. Just added the finishing touches tonight. Will begin overclocking and benching tomorrow. What do you think?

-the loop is res,pump,cpu,rad,res...
-the fans are blowing out(pull)

That's an understatement

OP: You got the res/pump going to the block first, then to cool off in the rad?

I want to try your way. I have mine:Res/pump-rad-block-res, Is this ok?

well done dude nice and neat not too clunky my only criticism would be them fans sitting ontop, they make any rig look ugly especially if the rad was poking out aswell; but then again you may not have have the room in your case; otherwise cant wait to see them benchmark results oh also might be a good idea to put some fan filters on.... keeps it cleaner

Yea its going to run rasa outa stock lol for the price of it you cant hardly beat its performance with high end air costing around 75-100 shipped and the rasa kit is around 140-200 shipped and you normaly shave 10-15c off and a much quieter system.

I love mine, my phenomII 965 was idle at 30c with stock frequency(but lowered vcore)
Proceeded to OC tonight and am pleased with a ~35c idle temp and max temp of 45c after 1hour stress testing- 3.9ghz@1.4v(18.5x211(ram@1406mhz)) I kept the 3.9 because 4.0ghz was unstable any way i tried it, with the multiplier up(200x20=4.0@stock ram speeds) as well as with a lower multiplier and higher fsb(something like 230x?? w/ ram speed closer to 1500mhz) anyway, i had both configs booting into windows w/ a rediculous 1.42 vcore and both BSOD at various lengths of the stress test. I would however like to join the 4ghz club and am open to any and all suggestions

I'm sure either way is fine. I only did my loop in this order because I didn't want hot liquid going directly to my reservoir.(thought it might bring up the ambient case temp)

it doesnt matter, the only difference is that your res is going to be warmer. i have mine setup with the rad before the block so the water hitting the block is colder. i have a second rad coming and im going to have it set up like this: res/pump---rad---block---rad---res/pump

i might experiment with different setups. maybe try one with both rads connected in series before the block, then in series after the block. though i doubt there will be any different in temps.

btw, is that a rosewill case? looks alot like the one i used in my parents build. i think i got the rosewill challenger? i cant remember i got it on sale for $30 and was really suprised at how good the case was for the price.

Looks great! Can't wait to set mine up. I just orders 4 gentle typhoon's for when I start building my loop next week.
