RMA Question gtx 470

Hi all, my gtx 470 recently died! When that happend i was playing Metro2033 the pc stop and cannot run anymore! I send couple of emails and pictures of the problematic card becouse there are some visible problems it looks like the card had been overheted without any clocks or voltage tweaks! They resend my requert to their RMA team for approval and yesterday i receive rma number and some form to fill and send the card to them within 30 days. So my question is will they change my card? Or they will repair it? Or this just means that i can send them the card and after that they will deside what to do? Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English.

thats very good i read rma policy and i saw that any phisical damage will ruin my warranty and rma! But it seems the card was defective. But there is a little problem i lost the cd with the drivers OMG i hope that wont be such a problem!?

you won't get the same card back. i actually got back a much better overclocking 470 than the one i sent in.

Missing CD won't ruin anything, nor the missing manual or any cable

Every time i've sent video card to RMA ,i used to forget include a CD or manual,but no one said anything about it and replaced the card.

I think the process works as follows:

1. You send in your card.
2. They check that it is indeed not working properly and that it isn't damaged due to the user's actions.
3. They dispatch a refurbished/new card.
4. They try to fix the card you sent in and send it as a replacement to somebody else.

Indeed, thats my warnings. How they can know if the card is damaged by the user? My card died without any clock but still have visible damage on it...
