Hi dixson, could you elaborate for me please?

And boom50cal, I clocked the memory up to 1066 and it wouldn't post. CMOS checksum error. With 235 fsb and neither a 15.5, nor 15x.

That's all I got so far. I've gotten a couple BSODs which I believe are memory related, so I upped those voltages, and a coupled failed windows boots so I upped the CPU voltage a notch, and now here I am.

edit: bad link
How do I post my CPUZ validation?

Memory has a FSB wall too.
Example
DDR3 1600 wall is about 285 - 290 stable.
DDR3 2000 wall is about 315 - 325 stable.

Edit
I had DDR3 2000 A-DATA stable @ 1600 with FSB of 320.
I have DDR3 1600 G.Skill Eco stable @ 1600 with the FSB of 285.
This on the same cpu and mobo that is in my sig rig.

I have this board and an Athlon II 240. It hates to when I use the "save and exit" menu item but has no problems with hitting F10 to save BIOS settings... try using F10 instead.

I'm running cheap memory on this system now. I'm running 1333 in bios using (in order) 9, 2T, 9, 9, auto, 24. I would change to 1066 instead. At 1333 my memory is really running 1532 @ 230fsb. It's running 1.60V but you might even have to bump it up to 1.65V.

You can lower the HT Link multiplier by going into Performance and down to Hyper Transport Configuration. Choose HT Link Speed on the next page. They show MHz and GHz but they're all really multipliers. 1Ghz would be 5x, 1.2GHz would be 6x and so on... there are no half multipliers. So at 230 fsb, for example, you would use the 1.8GHz setting... 230 x 9 (the multiplier for 1.8GHz) is 2070.

Okay so here's a little update:

Fsb: 255
Multi: 13x
Vcore: 1.4125v
NB volt:1.1750
NB freq: 2000MHz
DRAM clock: 800MHz
HT link speed: 1.6GHz
Memory voltage: 1.65v
CPU NB is stock

I post just fine, but immediately blue screen upon entering windows. Is this a memory issue?

i sure wouldnt think its your memory at this point, concidering your are currently still below ddr3 1066 speeds on 1333 ram. also thats a lot of modifying of variables to only acheive 300+ mhz overclock it seems to me. i have a athlon 255 and crappy patriot $20 ddr3 1333 on my system here( not the one in my sig) and i set it to 1066 in bios becuase it would only overclock like 100mhz becuase of ram. so once set at 1066 i have been working my way up with the ref clock just finished prime 95 test at 3642 cpu mhz. and my ram is only running at 626 mhz. stock voltages so far.. i am stepping up 5 more ht mhz right now. oh and also when i was at 3.5 ghz on the stock cooler i was hitting 60c now i just got the coolermaster hyper 212, this thing rocks, at 3.64 ghz it didnt go over 29c full load for an hour. smile.gif
