Alright, Now i would like your suggestions on These AMD builds and what i can do to make it better....

All newegg:
First: The list of what hardware for build

Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula
CPU: Phenom X6 1090T
Graphics:XFX Hd5770 Juniperxt -x2
Ram:G.SKILL Flare 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory Model F3-16000CL9D-4GBFLS
PSU:AX850 850W corsair
HDD:2 WD BLACK 1TB Sata 6.0Gb
SSD:Vertex 2 OCZ 64Gb
Case: Corsair 800D

^^
The case is huge yes Want to water cool this...
With both cards cooled, Cpu cooled
Fans are going to be replaced with silent white ones
once i find the right ones

So wondering about watercooling, is it even worth getting a whole setup or just go with the h50 or coolit systems from new egg...
This is going to be for yes gaming but also very heavy photo editing and video editing
hes got cannon 5d mk2
a really nice camera i think

(its a dream pc for my padres bday )

ANy suggetions on this

Or should i go with an intel based system (always wanted to try that out new sandy bridges are out i think soon )

i have time to build this so no rush on it at all

Sleeving everything water cooling everything Noise wll be silent tat is what im looking at doing any help would be awesome

the i5 2500k sandy bridge would be another great option, and can keep the price about the same as the 1090T. if you want to stick with AMD, the PHII X6s are great

as for GPU, i would put more money there and maybe get a different case or PSU. that whole system could be ran on a nice 500-600w unit, the AX850 is way too much money for a rig like that, and the 800D case is a bit above the price range of the rest of the build, but the case is mostly personal preference, so thats your call. i would go for atleast a 6850 and look for crossfire later. if you still can spend $300 or so on GPU power, the 6950 is nice. or you can jump the fence and go to nvidia for a GTX570 for about $50 more than the 6850.

edt: since your dad does photo editing, something with hyperthreading would be a lot better, the i7 2600k will blow away the X6 and the 2500k if your dad likes to do lots of editing

whats your total budget goal for ths build? that will help a lot

Custom loop is nicer and will get better temps(usually) but if your new to setting up pcs I would suggest The H-70 for easy of set up. If you want a kit I would go with one of thesehttp://www.frozencpu.com/products/12..._Hot_Item.html

i would make sure you can get blocks for both those cards before you buy them, happened to me now im gonna sell them and get a 6970 so its all good. Ive got the same motherboard and cpu as well amazing combination proberly the best you can get for amd at the moment apart from the 1100T which as far as i can work out isnt that diffrent from the 1090T.

Total is 2500

Thanks i read that he should just get a mac for this whole thing but he hates them doesnt feel right

Ya ill have to wait to check out the new processors from intel when they get released and motherboards for these processors

As for case i think this would be a nice case just because of the shear size and ability to hold alot of drive and space for watercooling thats what its built for but im looking more now towards a smaller case just to save a few extra on some ram and other little tid bit things

your build is "ok"
but this one i5-2500k super combo will crush urs any day in any game and in any app , add in a nice 6950 (flashed to 6970) CF setup or SLI and a decent cooler , and u gonna be rocking hard
