Thread Starter
Guys i oced my E7500 From 2.93Ghz to 3.21 Ghz on stock cooler.
it idle temp is 37 for both the cores
and i ran Prime95(Blend - test some of everything and lot of ram tested ...what does that mean)for 1hr5mins and the max temperature was 71 but den dropped an remain constant at 67...

are these temps ok...n can i try a little more on stock cooler...i hav Asus P5KPL AM/PS motherboard and i hav overclocked using overclocking profile in bios...

I personally dont like prime for stress testing, it takes too long and sometimes doesnt put full strain on the cpu. Try looking at your temps when running intel burn test.

Personally I would say those temps are too high and i would not go any further.

When I ran my E7500 low 60's was max for me.

However i do play on the safe side.
+1 for intel test burn. It's quick and you will see higher temps.

Also if it is stable and your happy with the temps, it us okay for 24/7 as you won't be pushing your CPU like that 24/7.
