turbo core is off... im not sure where to find LLC settings

does vcore still spike w/ turbo core off?

llc = load line calibration, it should be in there somewhere

ive looked throughall the menus and cant find LLC... or load line calibration, turbo core has been off the entire time

LLC is an intel spec so your board probably doesn't have it. Just lower your voltage to compensate i.e. change your voltage to something like 1.46v. ALSO keep in mind that the temp sensors are offset by about 10°C so your actually loading at 67°C which is above the thermal threshold.

i thought that only applied to the core temps and not the CPUTIN

EDIT: with vcore at 1.4625 my vcore is at 1.512 under full load, 1.24 idle

Yeah that should keep temps down. Oh yeah I didn't realize you weren't looking at core temperatures.

alright cool, just double checking....

hmm unstable now at 4.1ghz and the lowered vcore :/ but was only hitting 48c after about 10 minutes of prime...

why 4.1ghz? try stabilizing 4.0ghz first

post a screenshot of your cpu & memory tab in cpu-z

is it bsod'ing or just shutting off?
