from what i see most new boards be it by asus or other manufacturers for AM3 are mostly blue, so i guess you can either surfice with one of them or get about another £35 for a crosshair iv

EDIT: not sure what these are like, but they are red

The only ones that I could find that were red were the biostars mobo am3 most of them are black and red. Not sure if you really want a biostar mobo, never personally used one. But yea if I were you I would save up more for the cheapest crosshair cause they look really nice.

How about the Biostar TA890FXE?

I've used quite a few Biostar boards, and have had very good luck with all of them....

i was under the impression that 1090t more more like a 950, need someone else to verify that though, just what i have read somewhere

also where can you get all that for £300...?

well i dont know what you think, but looking at that review, i would either just save another like £30 for a crosshair or go the intel route, but i would be more leanient towards something more than a 930. think those benches show that the 1090t just about has the lead over the 930

I believe most of all i7 beat amds hexacores in benchmarks, as far as I can remember. Unless there is an application/program that can use up to 6 cores.

in games like dirt2 the 1090t at stock is faster than the 930 overclocked to 4.0 GHz
