Trying to indentify a fan problem please help

Hi everyone one of the fans in my system is making a rattling sound when I cold boot my machine for the first 30 seconds or so after it has been off for a while.

The issue does not happen if I shutdown until all the fans stop spinning and start right back up so i'm thinking that the fan that is causing the issue must be warming up or something and stops rattling once thermal expansion has done its thing.

So i'm thinking its probably the gfx card fan causing the issue but i'm wondering if I should look at any other fans the next time my system is cold and I boot up again.

Best if you can isolate the noise. Unplug a fan then listen. Do another fan and listen. You'll eventually find the noisy one. If all the fans are off and you still here it, it could be the GPU or the Power Supply fans.

Time to ground yourself (everyone should have a wrist strap), pull that card and carefully inspect it.

Blow on the fan. Watch. Listen. Look for places it may be binding. Then touch the blade(s). See if the blade(s) wobble. That kind of stuff: looking to find something that can clatter.
