Yes you can. Just fellow the basic guide line.
1) Max cpu voltage is 1.55v.
2) Keep temp under 55c.
3) NB frequency take it as high as you can take it and stable.
4) CPU/NB voltage max 1.45v. This the voltage for NB Frequency.
5) Keep HT around 2000.
6) Keep memory close or under to stock speed.

everything he said.

If you dont know how to overclock you either up the multiplier or the fsb. I dont know if that chip has an unlocked multi but if it does start with that since it doesnt affect the speed of anything else. If you are going to overclock you should just buy a heatsink though as its going to leave you unfifilled

Dont do anything drastic yet! only bump it up bit by bit, then run prime95 for an hour each overclock. Dont push it that far that it would be un-stable. Just keep things simple until you get used to it all a bit more. You can also overclock your graphics card which will give you the advantage of more fps. But follow the guy's aboves clear instructions

Maybe this will help. http://www.overclock.net/amd-general...ing-guide.html

It takes some time, and you can refer back to this thread as needed. It'll give you an idea of how it's done the right way, plus you'll have a good path to follow.
