Not that I was going to pick one up anyway but my local Microcenter has a few 2500k's in stock. No 2600k's.

MC definitely dropped the ball today. I got there around 11 and they had none in stock. They said they all sold out online with web orders. Me and 4 other people argued with the manager explaining how the ad said "In store only". He said corporate had mistakenly put them online and did not take them down. So after about 15 minutes of arguing, he said we could pay for it now and they will ship it to us this week free of charge.

Wait until I get corporate on the phone and chew them out over this debacle. Why advertise in store only if you are going to let people place web orders? I told the guy I was going to buy a SSD and a haf x from them today, but because of their stupidity, they are going to lose that business. I feel bad for the guy who camped out over night only to be told they had none to sell him....Lots of people were pissed off.

Ha! I KNEW that was going to happen so I reserved it and an Asus Pro at 9:30 this morning. I then braved the crummy roads and got there at 11:25. I drove out of Monument and the roads weren't 'too' bad on the way up, but back they sucked hard.

I saw no less than 8 reserved sets of Mobo's and CPU's on the shelf waiting to be claimed.
