hearing that youtube from my speakers and sub makes all those cameras sound bad. the youtube is really only compairin the speed vs the sound coz we all have different speaker set ups.
i have a T2i which isnt in the youtube and it sounds alright in real life. im sure half of those cameras in the youtube are better than the T2i.

OP has a nikon who knows what his intention is.
great youtube anyway....

My XSi sounds just like the video and so do the T2i's I've messed around with in the past (since some of my friends own them).

And the 1DIV sounds correct. So does the 5DII. Who else here knows the exact tone of the 5DII shutter sound? And D3. And D700. And all the 1Ds. Maybe I am just weird.

I've played with all these cameras during work at BestBuy.. They sound correct to me.

The part that I hate is how it like squeals.

the 5d2 sounds about right....a soft "psffft" sound....compared to the "clack" of the d700/a900
