Hello everybody, I was wondering if i could remake the heatkiller 3.0 design by using acrylic for the impingement plate and using a dremel wheel cutter to create the "micro mill design" on the bottom plate.

Thanks here are the pics of the rev 3.0

Are you looking to modify an existing block, or make your own knock-off? I'd say the milling in the bottom would be next-to-impossible to do well by hand/with a cutoff wheel. You can buy the bottom plate direct from SidewinderComputers though, for ~$30, but by then you're practically into a new block. Acrylic for the midplate might work, but I'd probably suggest delrin instead since it'd have to be so thin. Some of the other guys who have made blocks will know more, I've just sat back and taken notes
