Qx9775 Vcore max on overclocking

Thread Starter
I was wondering what the highest Vcore I can go on my Qx97754 processors? I am running at 4.0ghz at 1.425 on the Vcore at 28c/38c.

Pretty sure its 1.45v, anything beyond that can lead to degradation.

I've done a bit of digging on it myself, and according to Intel, it's 1.3500V for both the VID and Vcc Max for the QX9775 chips.

My gut is that you can push them further and still be relatively safe, but you will be outside of Intel's published operational limits. My reasoning on that assumption is on what the other Yorkfield chips are capable of (e.g. the QX9770 sister chip, VID 1.3625V & Vcc Max 1.4500V) and what I have seen others running the Skulltrail at with these chips. Personally though, I'm backing mine down to the point where I have a 24/7 stable overclock within the published voltage limits...YMMV
