best BIOS to flash a 465 with?

Whats the BIOS that will unlock the highest voltage achievable, and flash a 465 to a 470?

I heard you could flash it with a 480 one instead...

All the file links are scattered and no dates on them.

That depends on whether or not the card you receive can actually be "unlocked" (meaning that it was born as a GTX 470, but was binned as a GTX 465). I mean, only a few are.

Which one did you order?

The PNY black pcb model: VCGGTX465XPB (as opposed to XBB)

Didn't buy from newegg, I got it from a buyer who listed it as guaranteed XPB model, which is the black pcb model AFAIK...

(If it's not, i will be filing a wrong item sent claim via paypal )

Aw, you bastid. Nice choice!

I apologize for asking, though. I mean, I had to be sure because I didn't know.

Anyway, the highest I know of that is easy for me to find (without spending nearly an hour searching) has to be Grunion's 1.21V max BIOS which has stock clocks of 700MHz core, and 1848MHz memory!

http://www.tunerspotter.com/bios/OVEVGA480.rar (it's not a GTX 480's BIOS though)

As far as actually using a GTX 480s BIOS, I don't know about that yet.

It's actually a GTX 470's BIOS with the clocks raised up to the same clocks of a GTX 480.

I learned this from participating in The Official MSI GTX 465 Twin Frozr II GE Owners Club. I did the same thing you did and pointed out the name of the ROM ("OCX480"), and that's when I learned that it is not a GTX 480's BIOS.

It's actually not necessary. I have an MSI card with an EVGA-identifying BIOS (the 1.21V one by Grunion, actually).

I know its not necessary, but it would be nice to have a 1.21v PNY BIOS instead EVGA on a PNY card.
