Does anyone have any experience with XenServer?

I installed XenServer on a PC and created 2 VM's one for pfSense the other for Windows Server 2008 R2. I have XenCenter installed on my Windows 7 workstation and can connect across the network.

System Specs:
AMD Athlon X2
Gigabyte 785G
4gb DDR2 memory
1x 500gb Seagate 7200.12 (OSs)
3x 1tb Seagate 7200.12 (Storage)
2x Intel gigabit NIC

I want to be able to see the storage drives in windows

Wait so you have a dedicated computer running XenServer and another windows client with the XenCenter client installed? You want to access Windows drive on the XenCenter box accessible by the XenServer?

Sorry, I haven't used anything Xen related for a long time. I jumped on the VMware ESX bandwagon and haven't looked back.

Unfortunately I couldn't get ESXi to install

-Server (XenServer)
  • pfSense
  • Windows Server 2008 R2

-Client (Windows)

The way you manage XenServer is through a program called XenCenter which I have installed on the windows workstation.

The issue is that I can't see my 3x1tb storage drives which are connected to the server.
