Thread Starter
I need help with my new build.
I have $850-$950 for this build.
I'll use this system for Gaming and Folding.
I think I'll use i5 2500K and GTX470

Thanks

usually AMD is better on budgets below $1000, but the i5 rig might be possible, but youre gonna need to find deals.

why go with the GTX470? its old tech now and its expensive. for that price you can get a ATi 6950.

GTX470s can be had for low to mid 200s now, that isn't expensive for the performance you get from it.

I wouldn't get an AMD system right now.

Both great boards its entirely upto personal preference, i would choose the ud5 but i am biased

If you are folding get a nvidia card as they fold better than ati, choose a gtx 570 over a 470
