I'm assuming you'll want the ability to overclock? Only the P67 chipset will allow you to if you buy an K series CPU:
eBuyer has a very limited collection, and Dabs doesn't have any at all. Do you mind OCUK? They're quite good retailers, and currently have the best prices.:

Those are the cheaper motherboards that are worth buying. Do you have a specific budget on the motherboard?

they have a few on ebuyer?

http://www.ebuyer.com/search?page=1&limit=10&store=2&cat=14&subcat=3317

if you look further down the page there are some p67 sets there.

the other thing i could do is get this....

http://www.dabs.com/products/asus-amd-gamer-bundle--includes-m4a87td-evo-motherboard--amd-phenom-ii-x6-1090t-black-edition---4gb-ddr3--77X5.html

seems like a good deal to me, if i get the i5 a new motherboard and then 4gb of ddr3 ram its going to cost me more than the above bundle?

or there is this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/252616 on ebuyer?

You can't overclock with the H67 chipset, unless you plan on buying a locked CPU? That ASRock motherboard is a great buy!

It'll cost just as much, but out perform it by a lot more. And you'll be getting quite a heft over-clock with that i5 too.

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/252616
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/239260

that comes to.....£317 in total,

this bundle is http://www.dabs.com/products/asus-amd-gamer-bundle--includes-m4a87td-evo-motherboard--amd-phenom-ii-x6-1090t-black-edition---4gb-ddr3--77X5.html

£310. so for performance wise the intel would win?

Yep, that's what I meant. That extra £7 will get you a MUCH faster computer.
