Lol @ 2nd coming of Athlon!!!

I don't know why people keep making these threads with no proof of testing, no sense of what overclockability will be on the BD, and no recollection of how AMD has submitted subpar CPUs to the mainstream the last 7 years. And why are you comparing it to SB all of a sudden....compare it to IVY BRIDGE lol! The hexacore AMD has proven not to shine in suburbia, it should have been a server chip, or maybe it was.
I was born into AMD and I'll get a BD rig just to max it out to see if it can compete like the rumors say it can, but I don't want shenannigans from AMD anymore. Intel put a 5ghz CPU in stores for under 200bucks...and it laughs at a 6 core put out when 6 core applications aren't even feasible.
Couple of months....we'll see...it better be or AMD might be out of the market this time.

subpar for 7 years?

Your aware Core2 was in 2006 right?

Thats 5 years not 7, before that Athlon 64 ruled the world lol.
