Cores Over Heating After i Installed Corsair H 50

cores over Heating after Liquid cool added ?
I have asus M2N-SLI deluxe Mo/Bo Amd 2.8 Processor
Added Liquid cool fan today CPU is at 35-40 Constant even during Heavy gaming. I Bumped Processor up to 3080 almost 3.1 still runs sweet but Monitoring Cores Temp It goes to 50 degrees Idle little running and when gaming 63 -64 Degrees ? Help
I totally cleaned every where ?

OCing am2 cpus can get you temps near 50degrees on idle. And the load temps are also consistent. Now it is only true for places like mine where the local temps are around 35-40. If you are living in a colder place then there are things to worry about.
And one more thing, have you applied the thermal paste properly?

not being silly, but did you remove the sticker off the heatsink before installing it?

Its happened before. Simple but often overlooked step.Kinda like when I got my new monitor and started to freak when it wouldn't come on. I was in such a hurry to check it out and I didn't plug it in. doh!

Lol.... yeah, it might happen, I guess. But my bet is on his location being a warm place... where those temps are common. I myself had similar setup and experienced such temps.

Have you plugged in the pump?
Also apparently repositioning the tubes can cause a major temperature change... this was something discovered by SpykeZ on the AMD platform.
