Crossfire with old HD 4730?

Thread Starter
Hey guys,
I wanna set up a new rig with this mainboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...198R-_-Product
Well I'm not experienced at all in this Crossfire thing but I saw that this mainboard has two PCI-Ex16 slots and is supporting it.
So I wanted to know if it is better to run one more expensive card or two less expensive cards together?
And, I own an Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4730 which supports Crossfire technology. Can I buy a second of this and use it in Crossfire, will that be any good? It would save me some money but I'd only do this if it would give me enough performance.
Greetings
Sandy

I'm not sure if you can still buy 4730's, I haven't looked but I think you'd be better off upgrading to the 6800 series at least.

shouldn't you better just buy a new card?
what the price of the new 4730?
sell your old one and buy something like a gtx 460 or 6850
(cheapest around 150 $ ( or even less))

Good, so I will sell my old card together with my old system. You advice me to buy a 6850? Or any other Graphics Card?

i suggest you buy a GTX460 if you're planning to OC your card.
if you're not planning to OC,buy the HD6850.
