Disable/Enable all USB ports at the push of a button?

Thread Starter
I need to find some software (paid or free) that can disable all the USB inputs on my laptop, password protected (if possible) to be turned back on. Anyone know of any? I need it so if you plug your USB stick it, it won't install any drivers, read it or function, then when I decide, I can just turn it off and have all access. I know you can do this through the registry but that's time consuming!

Any help will be appreciated! Thanks.

Well if its possible to do it through the registry, you could write 2 batch files. One to turn on the USB ports and one to turn them off.

I don't know of any programs that can do this though.

I would help you write some batch files but im stuck on my phone.

You can also accomplish this by using a local Group policy in Win7. I'm not sure if it's password protected though. Just Administratively disabled.
